About The Role
As our Project Manager, you are the engine connecting our scientific goals with on-the-ground execution. You will drive customer projects from the initial agreement through to successful field implementation. Rather than needing a deep scientific or academic background, your expertise in management of international projects including the coordination of several teams. Your work will ensure that each partner project stays on track, that everyone is always ahead of the next steps and that all team members know their role, responsibilities and tasks. With this, you will ensure that our operational workflows efficiently support our rigorous scientific standards.
What You'll Do
  • Project Management: Take full ownership of different international customer projects, managing the end-to-end operational rollout directly from finalized customer agreements. 
  • Team Coordination: Stay ahead of all project requirements, assign and follow up with tasks for different teams, from science, over logistics, to field teams, ensuring that our operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and precisely.
  • Bridging Science & Ops: Work closely with our science team to understand their requirements and translate them into practical, executable operational workflows.
  • Implementation & Visualization: Implement workflows in project management software to keep track of all deliverables, tasks, and deadlines, and visualize progress for a clear communication of project status to the whole company.
Additional Responsibilities Will Include
  • Actively troubleshooting supply chain, shipping, or on-site logistical hurdles, and providing structured feedback to the scientific and engineering teams.
  • Constant improvement of workflows and task allocation to achieve high efficiency for our international projects.
  • Communication of project status, deliverables, and timelines to external partners.
Desired Knowledge And Experience
  • Proven, practical experience in project management. 
  • A background or degree in Environmental Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field (a science degree is a plus, but proven operational expertise is the priority). 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex deliverables, coordinate teams, and oversee multiple international projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to seamlessly act as the link between technical scientists, operational field staff, and commercial clients. 
  • A strong hands-on mentality and a willingness to solve problems immediately as they appear when necessary. 
  • English fluency.
Preferred Skills
Optional:
  • Industry Experience: Previous professional experience working within climate tech, the carbon dioxide removal (CDR) sector, or carbon markets.
  • MRV Knowledge: A basic understanding of Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) processes, helping ensure our operational data supports the verification of every sequestered tonne.
  • Sector Familiarity: Background knowledge of agricultural workflows, mining operations, or bulk material logistics. 
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency or working proficiency in Portuguese to seamlessly support and coordinate our operations in Brazil.
